If you want to travel an emotional journey from pain, to healing, to peace, this is the book for you. Ragan Terry's collection of poetry is a story of love gone wrong, and how the author used that pain to heal and grow. Her poignant and raw emotions will tug at your heart. We've all been there, broken hearted and lost. Ragan is able to capture that feeling in words. This work isn't just a collection of poems, but rather a story of the journey from true love for a man to true love for herself. If you are feeling broken hearted and aren't able to express yourself, Ragan can express it for you, all the while encouraging you to work through the healing process.
This book was short, but what it contained was volumes of experience and emotions. At times the writing was sophomoric, but it was sweet, and provides beautiful messages of self love and perseverance. I found myself relating to a lot of the emotion and some of the experience within the stories. It truly did show Growth from beginning to end. I feel it's key audience is those ranging from high school all the way to mid-20s. It touches on a lot that happens in all of those years. Well done.
